I’ve seen that most of the reviews above are positive, but I wanted to share my own experience.

About one week ago, I was contacted by Bennett Morgan regarding a Level 2 survey. I was assigned to one of the surveyors, Peter. He asked me to go through his website, where I placed an order and made an online payment of £550.

After making the payment, I didn’t receive any confirmation or further communication from him. I contacted him to ask why I hadn’t received a response. He told me that he had not received the payment and therefore could not carry out the survey.

I accepted what he said and contacted my bank, HSBC, to check the transaction. Their customer service team investigated it and told me that the payment had been successfully processed and that the funds had been credited to the recipient’s account. The bank also provided me with the transaction details.

I contacted Peter again and tried to provide the transaction information so that we could resolve the issue. Unfortunately, he did not answer my calls. I then called from another number, and he answered, but I still felt that he was unwilling to discuss the matter or spend even a few minutes trying to resolve the situation.

I have now reported the matter to my bank and provided them with all the relevant information. Their investigation is currently in progress.

This is my personal experience, and based on what happened, I would not recommend using this particular surveyor, Peter, based on my experience with the payment and communication.

I’m sharing this review so that others can be aware of my experience. If anyone needs evidence relating to the transaction, I can provide the relevant payment details and bank documentation privately.

During the probate survey of a property in Neath, Peter was easy to communicate with. Did the survey with no problems at all.

Peter was really responsive, and honest about the level of survey I needed, which really helped. Price was fine and the work was done on the day suggested. Then the report came in on the day it was promised. It was easy to read and interpret, helping me with my next steps. Can’t fault it all really!

As a first time buyer, a lot of the buying process can get overwhelming. Bennett Morgan (specifically Peter) have been amazing. Super easy to get a quote online, and always on hand for questions with a brilliant messaging service. I’ve had two surveys with Bennett Morgan and both times have been brilliant.

Peter was great throughout the process, and everything was completed in a timely manner. As a first-time buyer, it can be quite daunting trying to ensure you’re doing everything correctly, but Peter’s prompt communication and efficiency made the experience much easier.

Although we didn’t have much direct contact with him, as we had very few queries, the survey and report were completed within just a couple of weeks. We were very pleased with the service and would happily recommend him.
